"Berwald, don't forget your underwear! Tino, did you pack your medicine? Lukas, did you find that missing crayon? I think it's in the-- MATTHIAS!! DON'T YOU DARE PUT THE BABY IN YOUR SUITCASE!!" You yelled, frantically running around before your family left for your flight to California, United States. A nice break from your cold home in Denmark.

Running up the stairs, you stuffed toothbrushes, teething rings, and several diapers into a small bag, before quickly throwing a few shirts, pants, and shoes into a suitcase before you walked to the boys' bedrooms. Apparently, all of them were ready to leave... Except your oldest, who was deciding on whether or not to bring some of his toys, books, and clothes.

"Matt!! What are you doing?!" You asked, closing his suitcase with what was in it already. "Come on..." You grumbled, obviously stressed from having to travel with FIVE HYPER-ACTIVE TODDLERS. (Some more than others...)

He picked up his suitcase as you went to your room, grabbing three bags and the baby, walking down to the living room. "Head count!" You shouted, and the children did as you taught them: line up in front of you and hold hands. They knew that, whenever they heard those words, they had to do this. Counting each of them, you smiled, knowing they were all accounted for.

"Okay.... Who's got their shoes on?" She asked. Everyone but Lukas showed her that they, indeed, had their shoes on, tied tightly by Matthias or Berwald. Lukas tried his best to hide his sock-covered feet under his jeans, but you saw right through it. "Lukas, go find your shoes and bring 'em here." You stated.

"But they're on my feet, Mor." He said in a monotone voice.

"Then let me see."

He shook his head.

"Lukas, we don't have time for this! Go get your shoes or else we'll miss our flight." You said, trying to be calm. He nodded and walked to the space in the hall where the shoes were kept.

You turned to Tino. "Did you pack your medicine?" You asked. He nodded. Tino, the poor baby, had to take medicine once a day to stop his mild asthma. It broke your heart to see your baby in pain when he ran too fast. You had a back-up inhaler in your bag, just in case.

Just then, Lukas came back with his shoes, holding them up to you. Smiling, you slipped them on his feet. "Okay. We have to go. Like, now. Everyone, get in the car." As soon as you said this, they all ran outside and into the car. You smiled and picked up a few more bags filled with things such as cameras, passports, papers, coloring books, and so on.

As soon as you packed the car, buckled the kids up, and got in yourself, you were running ten minutes late. "Crap..." You muttered under your breath as you drove to the airport. It would've been easier, if the baby wasn't crying and Matthias would SHUT HIS TRAP AND SLEEP LIKE A GOOD LITTLE BOY.

As soon as you got there, all of your children held hands, with Lukas holding yours and Emil in a stroller. People stared, giving your large family strange looks as you passed by. For a mother of five, you looked very young.

As your last child went through security, with you watching all of them as well as you could, a man walked over to you.

"Hey there, sexy~" he purred, making you jump.

Frowning, you turned around. "I'm very sorry, but I need to watch my kids right no-- MATTHIAS! DON'T TOUCH THAT!" You shouted, just before Matthias could touch the fire alarm. He hung his head and walked back.

"Äiti! Äiti! Did you see? I went through the beep-y thingy all by myself!" Tino smiled, very proud of what he'd done.

You smiled. Kyllä, olen nähynt! Teithienoa työtä, Tino." (Translation: Yes, I saw! You did a great job, Tino.) You kissed his forehead and he ran over to Matthias and Berwald, while Lukas sat next to you and held your hand.

"So, do you and your kids wanna come over to my place~?" The man from before whispered seductivly. You stood up, carrying Lukas as you wheeled Emil over to your other boys.

"Mor, hvem var det?"
(Mother, who was that?)

"Bare et kryp, barnet mitt."
(Just a creep, my child.)

You gathered your babies together for another head count. All five were present, and all five had shoes on (thankfully). Eventually finishing with all preparations, you waited in a little lounge next to 'Gate 4.' You silently prayed that your children would sleep during the whole, nine-hour plane ride, but that was obviously not the case.

Matthias, Tino, Lukas, and Berwald chased eachother, playing a game of who-knows-what. Whenever they caught another, the person who was caught had to say one thing they loved about their sibling, which you thought was the cutest thing in the world. You smiled at them, glad they were having fun, until...

*Wheeeeeeze*

You looked over at Tino, who was sitting on the floor with his siblings around him, trying to catch his breath. You gasped, finishing around in your purse for his inhaler. Upon finding it, you ran over and administered it, pumping the little pump into his mouth twice. He held his breath each time for ten seconds. Still breathing heavily, you brought him to a chair next to yours, telling to other boys to sit down.

Eventually, the plane returned. Once everyone who was on the plane exited, they called people 'traveling with a disability, first class seating, or small children' to board the plane. That was the one good thing about traveling with small children: you were among the first on the plane.

You handed the kids their plane tickets and got in line. They all wanted to hand the lady their tickets, as it was a 'grown up' thing to do.

Once you were all on the plane, you inbetween Lukas and a rather sleepy Emil, with Berwald, Tino and Matthias on in the seats directly across from yours. It was really a miracle that you were seated this way, seeing as you didn't want to have all six of you s altered about the plane. And, since you just bought your tickets a little while ago, this really was kind of a miracle to you.

"Mom?" You heard Matthias call you from his seat. You look over. "I have to peeeeeee!" He shouted, earning strange looks from passengers. You sighed.

"The bathroom is at the front." Both of your youngest children's head rested in your lap. "I can't really move at the moment. I'm right here if you need me." You said. He nodded.

"Alright. I'm a big, brave boy who can use the airplane bathroom by himself!" Matthias gave himself a pep-talk before walking casually to the bathroom, giving a six-year-old girl a cocky grin on the way. Which surprised you, really, because he was still going through the 'Girls are icky and have cooties and OHMYGOSH don't touch me, lady!' stage. As soon as the toilet flushed, he bolted back to his seat. "Mom.... Do you have hand sanitizimaer? He pronounced the word 'sanitizer' wrong, making you giggle.

The flush had scared him so badly, that he'd forgotten to wash his hands. You pulled a very small bottle out of your purse. It was surprising to you that they let you keep the bottle. You handed it to him, and he scrubbed his hands.

Just then, a stuartess came on the overhead speaker, droning on about emergencies, getting the three of your boys who were awake to start shaking, thinking that the plane would crash.

You got up and buckled their seatbelts, kissing their heads before walking back to your seat and buckling the sleeping children's belts before your own, allowing them to sleep on your lap once more.

As the plane took off, you tried to keep popping your ears, hearing tiny groans from your children as the pressure in their heads grew with the altitude of the plane. You patted the youngest boy's head, hoping neither of them would wake up and cry.

--------------------

You sighed.two of your boys were playing in the isle, almost tripping the stuartess' who were just trying to do their jobs. You scolded your children, apologizing to the women, who just waved it off, saying they were just little and didn't know.

Sighing, you sat back in your chair, trying to tune out the child's screams coming from two rows ahead of you. That awful noise was giving you a headache!

Not to mention it woke your kids up.

Groaning, you dealt with the whining kids, hoping the nine hours would be up soon...
This was really fun to write!! I hope you liked it~ There will be a part two, 'cause I'm too lazy to put it into this one :D I got inspired by daydreaming about how awful it would be to travel with so many kids... And then this happened. Oops I wrote a two-part story. Oh well. :/ It was fun.

I own nothing but the story.
